What happens to my sample after the analysis is performed?

After the analysis, the laboratory destroys your DNA sample.

We store unused DNA material for research purposes (for potential new insights/findings, such as the discovery of the role of novel genetic variants, quality assurance, and the latest tracking of results).

When used for research purposes, your DNA data is aggregated and anonymised, which means that the information has been stripped of your name and contact information so that you cannot reasonably be identified as an individual.
