6 August 2019

GenePlanet has been named as ‘One to Watch’ in Europe in a list of business excellence published by the European Business Awards, one of the world’s largest and longest-running business competitions. GenePlanet was chosen as it demonstrates exceptional achievement in one of the 18 European Business Awards’ categories and reflects the programme’s core values of innovation, success, and ethics.

GenePlanet is a biotech company employing DNA tests as the foundation for preventive healthcare solutions. The fast-growing European company is already present in over 30 countries worldwide.

Marko Bitenc, CEO of GenePlanet, welcomes the nominations as a valuable motivator and proof of their excellence: “It shows that our efforts to combine the advances in biotechnology into innovative solutions to help people live better are recognized and welcomed. We are proud to be nominated by such an authority and to compete in the company of such successful ventures from all over Europe.”

Adrian Tripp, CEO of the European Business Awards, explains: “The companies chosen as ‘Ones to Watch’ are the most inspirational, successful and dynamic in Europe. The talent and tenacity at the heart of these businesses create jobs and drives Europe’s prosperity. This ‘Ones to Watch’ list of excellence is a benchmark of success for the rest of the European business community.”
